What is File Cabinet Pro?
File Cabinet Pro is the file manager for the macOS menu bar. Quickly navigate to files without cluttering your desktop. Open, move, rename, compress, tag, trash, copy and paste files, all from the menu bar. You can open many file types natively in File Cabinet Pro or open files by launching other applications. The first time you open the application, the default local folder File Cabinet Pro displays is empty. To add files, you simply drag and drop them on the window. If you right-click the window's background, you can create a directory or a new text document. If you want File Cabinet Pro to display another directory that is already on your Mac, you can change the default directory location in Settings.
How do I get to Settings?
To go to Settings, click the gear button at the bottom of the window and choose the 'Settings' menu item from the pop up menu. You can also use the command+comma keyboard shortcut.
